ADVENTURE ISLES · SUMSTONE CAVE

Addition games for kids

Gather glowing stones and put numbers together. In Sumstone Cave, each correct sum helps the explorer move through a maths battle.

What children practise

Addition means combining two amounts to find a total. The first Sumstone Cave section uses totals up to ten. Later sections build towards totals of twenty, fifty, and one hundred. The final cave challenge mixes questions from those earlier levels.

Children choose an answer from four numbers. If an answer is wrong, the same question remains so they can try again.

Try an addition question

4 + 3 = ?

Start with four. Count on three more: five, six, seven. The total is 7.

8 + 9 = ?

Add two to eight to make ten, then add the seven left over. The total is 17.
